A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Jones received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed her Residency in Ophthalmology and an Internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. Michel P. Kish, O.D.

Michel P. Kish, O.D. specializes in general optometry, treatment and management of eye disease, contact lenses, binocular vision disorders, refractive surgery evaluations, and low vision. Dr. Kish received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. A native of western Pennsylvania, he completed his undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University. George E. Sanborn, M.D.

George E. Sanborn, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous with a special interest in ocular tumors, retinal diseases in children, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Dr. Sanborn received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his Residency in ophthalmology at the University of Virginia Hospital. This was followed by a Fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology and orbital diseases at Johns Hopkins Hospital, as well as a Fellowship in retina and vitreous diseases at the Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Sanborn was a Fulbright scholar at the Saint John Ophthalmic Hospital on the West Bank, and was a World Health Organization Fellow in the People's Republic of China. Dr. Sanborn, a native of Charlottesville, graduated from the Virginia Military Institute. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Jeffrey H. Slott, M.D.

Jeffrey H. Slott, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in retinal and vitreous disease. Dr. Slott received his Doctorate of Medicine at the McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, Quebec. He completed his Residency in ophthalmology and Fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Duke University Eye Center. A native of New York, Dr. Slott completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Cortland. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Brent E. Smith, M.D.

Brent E. Smith, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, including diabetic eye care, and cataract and implant surgery. Dr. Smith received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Boston University School of Medicine. This was followed by an Internship at Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Pennsylvania. He completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Smith completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University and is a Member of the Medical Society of Virginia, the Virginia Society of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Southside Virginia Medical Society.

Shantaram K. Talegaonkar, M.D.

Shantaram K. Talegaonkar, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, and cataract and implant surgery. Dr. Talegaonkar received his Doctorate of Medicine from the G. R. Medical College in Gwalior, India. His Internship was completed at J. A. Hospital in Gwalior the University of New Castle upon Tyne, UK, and the University of Sheffield, UK. He completed a Fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Talegaonkar completed his undergraduate studies at Vikram University in Ujjain, India and is a Member of the Medical Society of Virginia, the American Medical Association, the Virginia Society of Ophthalmology, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, as well as the American College of Surgeons.

E. Winston Trice, M.D.

E. Winston Trice, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in laser surgery, cataract and implant surgery, and refractive surgery. Dr. Trice received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia where he remained for his Internship in internal medicine. He completed his Residency in ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University. A native of Richmond, Dr. Trice graduated from Duke University. He has served as Chairman of the Board of the Richmond Academy of Medicine and currently is on the board of directors of the Medical Society of Virginia. Dr. Trice is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

William Waschler, M.D.

William Waschler, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, refractive surgery, and cataract and implant surgery. Dr. Waschler received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Miami School of Medicine. This was followed by an Internship at Mercy Hospital in Maryland and his Residency in Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Palisano received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating with Beta Sigma Kappa honors. Theodore T. Wu, M.D., Ph.D.

Theodore T. Wu, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, and cataract and implant surgery. Dr Wu received his Doctorate of Medicine and Ph.D. in cell biology from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. This was followed by his Residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News. Dr. Wu completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University and graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Phi Beta Kappa honor. He served as Chief Resident of ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Wu is a Member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Virginia Society of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
