Lina Amini, M.D.

Lina Amini, M.D. specializes in glaucoma, cataract and implant surgery, and complicated anterior segment disease.   Dr. Amini completed her specialty glaucoma Fellowship at the Duke University Eye Center in Durham, NC.   She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia and completed her Residency in ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.   Dr. Amini graduated from George Mason University with her Bachelors of Arts in biology.   Dr. Amini is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Evelyn L. William H. Bearden, III, M.D.

William H. Bearden, III, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in plastic and reconstructive eye surgery.   Dr. Bearden completed his specialty Fellowship in Salt Lake City, Utah and his ophthalmology Residency at the Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital at the University of Alabama.   Dr. Bearden is an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine.   This was followed by an Internship at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia, as well as an Externship in Vienna, Austria.  A native of Alabama, Dr. Bearden completed his undergraduate studies as a Presidential Scholar at the University of Alabama.  He is a Member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery .

Michel P. Kish, O.D.

Michel P. Kish, O.D. specializes in general optometry, treatment and management of eye disease, contact lenses, binocular vision disorders, refractive surgery evaluations, and low vision.   Dr. Kish received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry.   A native of western Pennsylvania, he completed his undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University.   Dr. Kish served as a Major; Chief of the EENT Clinic, and an optometrist for the U.S. Army, stationed at Kenner Army Health Clinic in Ft. Byron S. Ladd, M.D.

George E. Sanborn, M.D.

George E. Sanborn, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous with a special interest in ocular tumors, retinal diseases in children, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.   Dr. Sanborn received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.   He completed his Residency in ophthalmology at the University of Virginia Hospital.   This was followed by a Fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology and orbital diseases at Johns Hopkins Hospital, as well as a Fellowship in retina and vitreous diseases at the Wills Eye Hospital.   Dr. Sanborn was a Fulbright scholar at the Saint John Ophthalmic Hospital on the West Bank, and was a World Health Organization Fellow in the People's Republic of China.   Dr. Sanborn, a native of Charlottesville, graduated from the Virginia Military Institute.   He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
