Virginia Eye Institute is currently involved in multiple national eye studies & research trials. We assist in conducting studies used in the treatment of common eye diseases such as: cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disorders, cornea, dry eye, uveitis, and strabismus.

Our dedicated research team consists of trained & highly-qualified experts in eye care studies, including Certified Ophthalmic Technicians, Phlebotomists, Clinical Research Coordinators, Recruiters, and Research Assistants, and our research departments use state-of-the-art equipment and fully equipped eye exam rooms.
