Angelene Rapone, O.D. provides comprehensive eye care to all ages, with a special interest in ocular disease and dry eye treatment. Dr. Rapone also has a background in specialty contact lenses, low vision, and post-operative care. She is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and completed her undergraduate degree at Penn State University, with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Dr. Rapone went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, at Salus University, in Philadelphia. She completed her residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and rotated through Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Rapone is passionate about providing exceptional, individualized care to each patient, with an emphasis on patient education and compassion. During her free time Dr. Rapone enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing basketball and volleyball.
