Walter Bundy III M.D., F.A.C.S.

Walter E. Bundy, III, M.D., F.A.C.S. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in glaucoma, cataract and implant surgery, complicated anterior segment disease, and refractive surgery. Dr. Bundy completed his glaucoma fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami School of Medicine. A West Virginia native, Dr. Bundy graduated from the University of Virginia. Dr. Bundy served as a reserve officer in the Navy for 32 years and continues to teach as a clinical professor of ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Bundy is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the International College of Surgeons, the American Glaucoma Society, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
