VEI is proud to offer free cataract surgery through our Cataract Mission Program. Cataract Mission is for people who do not have insurance (including Medicare or Medicaid) and do not have the financial means to pay for cataract surgery. Our program is put on annually by the physicians and associates of Virginia Eye Institute who volunteer their personal time two Saturdays in February.
