Artist of the Month
Congratulations to our Artist of the Month for June 2026, Sisters Project Peru!
Sisters Project Peru was founded by sisters Maya and Natalie Koehn-Wu, driven by a shared belief in justice and community-led change. After visiting the Andean village of Huacahuasi in 2019, they were inspired by the community’s resilience and moved by the lack of nearby healthcare access.
From the beginning, the mission has always been clear: partnership, not prescription.
Together with the people of Huacahuasi, they’ve led community health surveys, built local leadership networks, empowered women to become leaders in their community, and laid the groundwork for a community-driven health clinic that will bring essential care closer to home.
Today, Sisters Project Peru continues to grow through grassroots fundraising, health education, and women’s empowerment, uniting a global network that believes health is a human right for all.
