Dani was born outside of London, England, and grew up all over the Northeast. After earning her Bachelor in Art History and English Degree at Randolph Macon College, she settled down nearby in Richmond, Virginia to marry her high school sweetheart and build her family. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling at the Medical College of Virginia and has worked in a number of schools in the Richmond area.

Art has always been both a passion and profession in her life, Her work has been shown all over Richmond and throughout the United States. Her accolades include achievements at Virginia shows and corporations. Her art has been purchased by people in the USA and abroad. Dani is represented by Bella Arte Gallery in Midlothian. She is a member of the James River Art League and continues to paint each and every day.

Danielle enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, sipping Starbucks, and traveling the world with her husband, Tim. Whether they are enjoying their vacation home in the Caribbean or visiting her home country of England, their passion for life and travel comes through in all that she does. Danielle resides in Midlothian with her husband and two “furry” children—rescue dogs Lilly and Bear. Her family and four grandchildren live close by.

Artist’s statement

I have always felt a special connection with and appreciation of animals, and I enjoy combining my creativity and love for creatures in my pieces. Through vibrant colors and whimsical compositions, I believe my paintings come to life and, hopefully, bring a smile to your face. Whether it is experimenting with different mediums or using unexpected color choices, I hope to engage and take you to a world of imagination and fun.
