Ellen Davidson is a photographer based in King William County, Virginia. Since 2001, she has become known for nature and landscape photography. Ellen is also a professional pharmacist, horse trainer, dog-rescuer, and amateur dancer, both ballet and ballroom.
Ellen was born and raised in Virginia, living most of her adult life in the Tidewater area. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned a B.S. in pharmacy. Since that time, she has been licensed in four states, including Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and Wisconsin.Â
Many of her images are taken from her forest and farmland surroundings and from her love of animals and nature.
Her awards and honors include recognition by the National Arts Council and the Virginia Department of Conservation. She currently runs her photography studio full time while caring for her three dogs and five horses near Aylett, Virginia.
