Karun Arora M.D.

Karun S. Arora, M.D., specializes in the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, and complicated anterior segment disease, including femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery. He is also able to and enjoys providing general eye care, including performing screening eye exams for diabetes, age-related macular degeneration, and other common eye problems.

Dr. Arora has been fortunate to train with mentors who are leaders in their fields, and has adopted their compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered approach into his own practice. He is comfortable utilizing the broad array of diagnostic and treatment modalities available to patients, and strives to individualize treatments for his patients.

Dr. Arora has nearly 20 publications in the most well-respected journals in ophthalmology and has presented his work at several national meetings. He also played an important role in a multimillion-dollar project aiming to improve cataract services in Sub-Saharan Africa.

During his free time, Dr. Arora enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and daughter, traveling, trying various cuisines, and engaging in outdoor activities, including hiking and skiing.
