Theodore T. Wu, M.D., Ph.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract surgery, and refractive surgery.
Dr. Wu received his Doctorate of Medicine and Ph.D. in cell biology from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. This was followed by his residency at Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV) in Richmond, Va. Dr. Wu completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving the Phi Beta Kappa honor.
He served as Chief Resident of ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Wu is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Virginia Society of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery
