Stephen Keffer,
M.D.
Stephen T Keffer, MD is a dedicated ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care to patients at our Short Pump office. Before coming to Virginia Eye Institute, Dr. Keffer most recently served as Chief Ophthalmology Resident at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Keffer has a special interest in cataract surgery in addition to managing a wide variety of conditions including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, ocular surface/dry eye disease, and more.
Away from work, Dr. Keffer enjoys beach volleyball, hiking, and spending time with his family.
